Tool #6

Finally, a tool that I knew a little something about! When I was in grad school, we had to make Wikis for the theorists that we were studying. I was completely and totally lost 2 years ago when asked to do so, so it was a definite trial by fire. Now, after looking some of the suggested blogs over, I can see that Wikis have come a long way in the past 2 years.

I think students could use Wikis to learn about important figures in American History, and could add to them as they learn more information throughout the year. They could also research at home and add links to their pages. Our team could use Wikipages to keep up with other 5th grade teams who have great info to share as well.
